REGiMMUNE today announces it has appointed Dr. Professor Robert NEGRIN as a new Scientific and Clinical Adviser to the company.

Dr. Negrin is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Stanford University. He also holds the positions of Medical Director of the Clinical Bone Marrow Transplantation Laboratory and Division Chief of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Stanford University.

He trained in both medicine and hematology at Stanford University and joined the faculty in 1990. His research work has focused on cellular immunology, in particular developing a more fundamental understanding of complex biological reactions such as graft versus host and graft versus tumor reactions in animal models and in the clinic.

Dr. Negrin was recently President of the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and is the recipient of many prestigious honors including the 2004 Distinguished Clinical Scientist Award from the Doris Duke Foundation. Dr. Negrin received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and MD from Harvard University.

Dr. Negrin is a leading expert in bone marrow transplantation and regulatory T cell, having contributed to over 125 original papers and 35 book chapters..
